The dog and I went for a very short intervals run.

Warmed up for the first mile, running to the soccer fields. Once there, ran 8 striders (100m running w/100m cool-down.) After that, we ran intervals of 4 x 200m w/100m cool-down. We finished up the cool-down on the run home.
Usually, the dog doesn't do very well during interval runs, but I figured that 200m would be easier for her. This was borne out today as Dakota was just fine for the entire session. We managed to get close to a 5:00/mi pace for the short distances, but it wasn't very consistent since the dog still has a hard time keeping focused when distracted by birds, etc.
