Recovery Run (4.1mi)

Getting back to running, but taking it easy.  Did cross training before hitting the trails with the dog.

Weight: 133.5 lbs
Time: 34 min

Started with push ups, pull ups, and upper body cross training.  Then took the dog on a short trail run, which pleased her.  We were able to average an 8:17/mi pace.

I worried that my feet, ankles, or hamstrings would have been a limiting factor, but I was wrong.  I did get leg pain after awhile, but it was my upper knees and the front of my hips that complained.  However, it wasn't too intense and was not constant.  I'll continue running this week, but will keep the mileage low.
