Intervals (5.35mi)

Took the dog for an easy intervals session.

Weight: 132.5 lbs
Time: 46 min

Did some lower body cross training after warming up.  My knees were a little achy at times, but nothing constant.  My resting pulse was close to 70, but that might have been due to a bad night's sleep.

Warmed up with 1 mile run to the soccer fields, followed by 8 x 100 m striders (w/100 m cool downs.)  After that, we ran 6 x 400 m intervals w/200 m cool downs.  During each of the cool downs, we actually slowed to a brisk walk for part of the distance.  Finished up with an easy run back home.

It was very dry and windy this morning, so both the dog and I got out of breath quickly.  However, she actually kept up very well, except for one interval.  Mostly she got distracted by crows and papers being blown by the wind.
