Recovery Run (6.2mi)

Getting the dog back into the mix with a short warm up, followed by some trail work by myself.

Time: 52 min

Napped after lunch and got to bed before 9pm.  Sleep was a bit erratic since one of the cats kept snoring.  After warming up and stretching I did a truncated lower body cross training session.

Took the dog out for an easy two mile look through the neighborhood to ease her back into being more active.  She didn't react negatively at all other than she pulled too much, which makes sense considering how house-bound she's been.

Dropped the dog off at the house before going back out to the trails for another four miles.  The run is still pretty technical owing to the ruts from the search and rescue vehicles last month.  My left knee is a little cranky, but nothing too bad.  Averaged an easy 8:21/mi pace.
