Starting my taper for next week's race. Went for a slightly faster, but shorter, trail run with the dog.

Got a good night's sleep last night, but need to get to bed earlier for the next few days. After warming up & stretching I did push ups, pull ups, and upper body cross training.
Took the dog out for a 4 mile run, and ran faster than yesterday. After I got her back to the house I went back out and reran the same course to get my total mileage up to 8 miles. Overall I pulled off a 7:23/mi pace.
