Went for a neighborhood run with the dog before hitting the trails.

Slept around 8 hours, but needed to go to bed earlier. After warming up and stretching I did lower body cross training.
Took the dog out for a 2 mile run, and ran a slow pace. After I got her back to the house I went back out to the trails and ran another 6 miles. Kept it easy and pulled off a 8:18/mi pace.
