Intervals (4.1mi)

Ran 1/8 mile intervals with the dog.

Weight: 136 lbs
Time: 34 min

Went to bed early and slept well. Did my warm up, stretching, and lower body cross training.

Warmed up with 1 mile run to the soccer fields, followed by 8 x 100 m striders (w/100 m cool downs.) After that, we ran 4 x 200 m intervals w/100 m cool downs. Finished up with an easy run back home.

Very windy today, but it mellowed a bit once the sun rose. Nearly done with my pre-race taper, but had to get through some short, fast sprints. The dog was a bit crazy due in part to the wind, but mostly behaved well. She had a bit of a problem keeping up with the actual sprints, which was a nice change. There was a lot of variation, but I ran between a 4:39/mi and 4:52/mi pace.
