Recovery Run (8.1mi)

Went for a neighborhood run with the dog before hitting the trails.

Weight: 139.5 lbs
Time: 64 min

Slept around 8 hours, but woke a couple of times through the night.  After warming up and stretching I did lower body cross training.

Took the dog out for a 2 mile run, and ran a slow pace. After I got her back to the house I went back out to the trails and ran another 6 miles.  Kept it easy for the most part and pulled off a 7:53/mi pace.  I think that I've gotten enough rest in the last few days that I'm able to keep a faster pace without much effort.
