Post Race Recovery Walk (4mi)

Took the dog for a trail walk.

Weight: 138.5 lbs

I slept in yesterday, and even napped in the afternoon, but I didn't get to sleep until after 9pm last night.  I didn't sleep too badly, but I'm in need of even more rest after last Saturday's race.  After warming up I stretched, and did push ups, pull ups, and upper body cross training.

Kept to a 4 mile walk with the dog while I recover.  Upper quads very tight, making hills difficult.  Going uphill is tough, but downhill is agonizing.  I don't think I've been this sore since last year's race in Malibu Creek.

After the walk I did some leg exercises to make sure I get my legs completely warmed up before stretching again.
